Blue-Green Algae Report 2008

This report provides an overview of blue-green algae blooms and the work the Department of Environment and Conservation has undertaken to monitor the presence of blue-green algae in provincial surface water bodies.

The ponds that were monitored for blue-green algae are not used as a source of public drinking water, but are used extensively for recreational purposes.
