White paper, mixed paper, corrugated cardboard, aluminum cans, plastic and glass bottles, toner cartridges and batteries. What does white paper include and where is the recycling bin located? White paper includes typical uncolored
non-glossy paper. White paper recycling stations may be found in the west
and east side of the Department near the photocopiers. I accumulate a lot of non-confidential good one side paper, where can it be stored for future use? 8 ½ x 11 paper which has non-confidential printing on one-side only should be placed in the good-one side box located in the photocopier area. This paper is used to make phone message pads and note pads. What does mixed paper include and where is the recycling bin located? Mixed paper includes newspaper, magazines, flyers, file folders, sticky notes, glossy paper, brown envelopes, paper clip boxes, pen boxes, paper tablet backs, etc. Recycling bins are located at both recycling stations (photocopier area). What does corrugated cardboard include and where is the recycling bin located? Corrugated cardboard includes paper boxes, computer boxes, etc. Please ensure that boxes are broken down. The recycling bin is located at the southern recycling station. Where is the recycling bin for Aluminum Cans and Plastic and Glass bottles located? Aluminum cans, plastic and glass bottles are placed in a separate bin at both recycling stations. What toner cartridges are recyclable? Fax toner cartridges and printer toner cartridges are recyclable and can be placed in the southern recycling station. Savings, as compared to the purchase of new toner cartridges, are in the range of 50%. Photocopier cartridges are not recyclable at this time. What types of Batteries are recyclable? Types of batteries include Nickel Cadmium (Ni-Cd), Nickel Metal Hydride (Ni-MH), Lithium Ion (Li-ion) and Small Sealed Lead* (Pb). These do not currently include your typical non-rechargeable alkaline battery. Appropriate batteries are placed in a separate bin located in the southern recycling station. |
