Summary of Environmental Assessment Process

• This amendment is for the construction of additional forest access roads to access timber stands beyond the expiry date (March 31, 2002) of the current Five-Year Operating Plan. The areas are in the vicinity of Sail Pond, Dawes Pond Forest Access Road, Marble Mine Forest Access Road, Spring Hill Operating Area and Flat Brook Operating Area. 
• April 19, 2001 - this undertaking was registered.
• May 29, 2001 - the Minister announced that the proponent had withdrawn the project.
