Project Summary:

The Caribou Curling Club, located in Stephenville, recently has designed a lighting system that will provide a substantial energy and cost savings to the club. This system will replace their existing T12 lights and provide a reduction of 27.8 tonnes of GHG emissions annually and a 32% reduction in lighting energy use.

The club has decided to replace the existing T12 light fixtures with a mixture of Induction, Compact Florescent, T8 and LED light fixtures. Estimates show that the lighting upgrade could provide a cost savings of approximately $3,566 annually.
