School Drinking Water Quality Data

The Department in conjunction with the Department of Education and all school districts in the province undertook a pilot program to sample and test the drinking water for chemicals at about 70 schools in the province that have their own water supply. The data collected by this program was used to ensure compliance with the Guidelines for Canadian Drinking Water Quality opens new window and to provide guidance concerning proper well construction practices.

The data below represents contaminant exceedances reported from this program.
