National Wildlife Week: We celebrate National Wildlife Week by inviting the public to share in our love of Newfoundland and Labrador’s wildlife and special places.

Biodiversity Monitoring: Nature watchers have the opportunity to share their sightings of dragonflies, damselflies, and butterflies, or report sightings of Newfoundland marten, short-eared owl, or wolverine through our Biodiversity Monitoring Program.

Salmonier Nature Park: Salmonier Nature Park offers many outreach programs that give visitors an opportunity to come face-to face-with some of our province’s wildlife species in a natural setting. The Nature Park is one of the province’s most popular tourist attractions, welcoming more than 40,000 visitors every year: it’s also an environmental education centre, a wildlife rehabilitation facility, and a research station. Most of all, it’s a place for you to connect with nature and wildlife.
