Newfoundland and Labrador Angling Season Dates, Licences & Fees 2010-2011

Fisheries and Oceans Canada is responsible for managing inland fisheries and providing sustainable recreational angling opportunities for people in Newfoundland and Labrador. Recreational anglers also play an important role in the conservation and management of inland fish resources.

Inland fishery licences for salmon and trout are issued by the Department of Environment and Conservation, Wildlife Division. Licences may be obtained from commercial vendors, such as sporting good shops, service stations, and other locations throughout the province, or from the Provincial Government Service Centres listed. opens new window
