Provincial Parks

Something For Everyone!

Young and old, groups and individuals can enjoy a myriad of outdoor activities in Provincial Parks. The fun awaits you whether you join in a cross-country ski meet, enjoy an environmental game or spend a day at the beach with your friends. Leave stress behind as you; unwind in the refreshing natural setting of a provincial park.

There are 14 Provincial Parks in Newfoundland and Labrador where one can camp overnight. Thirteen of these parks are staffed while one, Chance Cove, is maintained by Parks and Natural Areas Division but not staffed. These parks range in size and in the services provided. They are located throughout Newfoundland and in southern Labrador. (Download the guidebook in our publications library)

There are also 6 Natural and Scenic Attraction Provincial Parks which are designed primarily for day use activities, 11 Provincial Park Reserves with the T'Railway Provincial Park completing the current system.
