How to get there
Mistaken Point is located on the southeastern tip of Newfoundland's Avalon Peninsula. The main reserve entrance is ~16 km along the dirt road to Cape Race, which heads southeastward out of Portugal Cove South.
Portugal Cove South is about a two-hour drive from St. John's, south on Route 10.
Access to the coastline area of the reserve is on foot, a 45-minute hike along a track.
No off road vehicles, including all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) or snowmobiles, are allowed in the reserve.
