The goal of the Becoming an Outdoors-Woman workshop is to provide women an opportunity to learn skills that will enhance and encourage them to participate in fishing, hunting and other forms of outdoor recreation.
Designed primarily for woman 18 years of age or older, Becoming an Outdoors-Woman focuses on events such as canoeing, kayaking, rifle, shotgun, archery, outdoor survival, map and compass, birding, spirituality & nature, and fishing, to name a few.
This workshop gives women a chance to try outdoor activities they may have always wanted to try but didn't know where to go for instruction. The workshop gives beginners a chance to improve and learn through the guidance of experienced and enthusiastic instructors in a non-threatening, comfortable atmosphere. Please contact Salmonier Nature Park for details and dates of the next program.
